  • Visited UNESCO world heritage site and modern 7th wonder of the world – Macha Picchu.
  • Visited one of the worlds wettest places – The Amazon rainforest.
  • Met a real live Astronaut!
  • Swam with Manatees.
  • Touched a piece of moon rock (brought back by the Apollo missions.
  • Encountered (and killed) my first Scorpion.
  • Swam in the lagoon of a dormant volcano (Laguna de Apoyo)
  • Seen real live volcanic lava – Twice! (Tellica and Masaya active volcanoes)
  • Visited historic sites of the ancient Mayans in Belize and Guatemala.
